  5. Where a statutory right of withdrawal applies, it is sufficient for the Customer to communicate the decision to withdraw before the applicable withdrawal period expires. Contacting Woofchild, requesting return instructions or a return address, creating a shipping label, registering a shipment or generating a return code does not constitute shipment of the returned Goods.

  9. The Customer must return the Goods without undue delay and no later than 14 calendar days from the date on which the Customer, or a third party indicated by the Customer other than the carrier, takes possession of the Goods. The return deadline is met when the parcel is physically handed over to the carrier within this 14-day period. Creating a shipping label, registering a shipment, generating a return code or arranging a collection does not constitute sending the Goods back and does not extend the return period.
  10. Returned Goods must be unused, unworn, clean, unwashed, undamaged, in their original condition and original packaging, with all original tags and labels attached. Goods that show signs of use, wear, washing, dirt, stains, hair, odour, damage or alteration, or that are returned with missing tags, labels, packaging or other original components, will not be accepted for return.

If a required gift or promotional item is not returned, its stated value may be deducted from the refund amount.
  12. All returns are reviewed individually after receipt. Woofchild will inspect the returned Goods to determine whether they meet the return conditions set out in this §9 and the Refund Policy. Submission of a return request, receipt of return instructions, provision of a return address or delivery of a return parcel to Woofchild does not by itself constitute acceptance of the return or approval of a refund. Where there are indications of fraud, misuse or abuse of the return process, including manipulation of promotional offers, false claims concerning returned Goods or returning used, worn, washed, damaged or altered Goods, Woofchild may conduct additional verification and request information reasonably necessary to verify the return.
  13. Refunds are processed after the returned Goods have been received and inspected. Once tracking shows that a return has been delivered to Woofchild, please allow up to 7 business days for the return to be inspected and processed. Refunds may take up to 14 days to be issued. Where a specific mandatory refund deadline applies, that deadline will be observed. Once the refund has been issued, the Customer will receive a refund confirmation. Refunds will normally be issued to the original payment method, unless another method has been expressly agreed. Banks, card issuers and payment providers may require an additional 3–5 business days for the refunded amount to appear in the Customer's account.
  14. Where the Customer paid using Klarna and chooses store credit instead of a refund to the original payment method, the Klarna payment plan remains active and must continue to be paid according to its applicable payment schedule. Store credit issued by Woofchild does not cancel, reduce or modify outstanding Klarna payments.
  15. The right to withdraw from the contract does not apply in cases excluded by applicable consumer law, including, where applicable:
a) services which have been fully performed with the Consumer's prior express consent where the Consumer acknowledged the loss of the right of withdrawal after full performance;b) Goods or services whose price depends on fluctuations in the financial market which cannot be controlled by the Seller;c) non-prefabricated Goods made to the Consumer's specifications or clearly personalised;d) Goods which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;e) sealed Goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and which were unsealed after delivery;f) Goods which, after delivery, become inseparably mixed or connected with other items.
  1. Woofchild does not offer direct exchanges. If the Customer wishes to purchase a different product, size or colour, the original Goods must be returned in accordance with this §9 and a new order must be placed separately. The new order constitutes a separate purchase and does not extend, restart or otherwise modify the return period applicable to the original order.
  2. Made-to-order, custom-made and personalised Goods are non-returnable and are not eligible for a refund.

§10 Complaints Procedure

  1. Woofchild takes reasonable care to ensure that all Goods dispatched to Customers are consistent with the Order, complete and free from visible damage or defects that can be identified during a standard pre-shipment inspection.

  2. Every Order is inspected during preparation for shipment. Goods are checked before packing, and the order preparation and packing process takes place under camera monitoring. Woofchild may also take photographs and/or video recordings documenting the condition of the Goods, the contents of the Order and the manner in which the Order was packed prior to shipment.

  3. Goods found to have visible damage, defects or irregularities during the pre-shipment inspection are not dispatched to the Customer. Documentation created during the inspection, preparation and packing of an Order may be used when reviewing any subsequent complaint.

  4. A complaint may be submitted if the Goods received are defective, damaged, incomplete, incorrect or otherwise do not conform to the Order or the product description.

  5. Complaints should be submitted by email to contact@woofchild.com. The complaint should include the Customer's full name, the email address associated with the Order, the order number where available, the name of the affected product, a detailed description of the issue and clear photographs and/or video recordings showing the reported defect, damage, missing item, incorrect item or other non-conformity. The Customer should also indicate the requested resolution of the complaint, where applicable.

  6. If the Goods or parcel arrive in a condition indicating damage during transit, the Customer should report this to Woofchild without undue delay and no later than the day following the date of delivery. Where possible, the Customer should also report any visible shipping damage directly to the carrier in accordance with the carrier's applicable claims procedure.

  7. In the event of shipping damage, the Customer should, where possible, take photographs of the parcel before opening it and photograph the damaged outer packaging, shipping label, internal protective packaging and the damaged Goods themselves. The Customer should retain the original packaging, protective materials and contents of the parcel until the matter has been reviewed.

  8. Where damage occurred during transportation by a carrier used by Woofchild, Woofchild may use the documentation supplied by the Customer together with its own order inspection, preparation and packing documentation to determine the circumstances of the damage and to pursue the appropriate procedure with the carrier.

  9. Each complaint is reviewed individually. Submission of a complaint does not automatically mean that the complaint has been accepted. Woofchild may compare photographs, videos and information supplied by the Customer with its own documentation relating to product inspection, order fulfilment, packing and preparation for shipment.

  10. Woofchild may request additional photographs, videos, measurements, information, documents or other materials reasonably necessary to verify and process the complaint. Failure to provide information or evidence reasonably required to assess the complaint may delay its processing.

  11. The Customer should not return Goods subject to a complaint before receiving return instructions from Woofchild. If physical inspection of the Goods is required, Woofchild will provide the appropriate return address and return instructions. Goods sent without prior instructions or to an incorrect address may delay the complaint procedure.

  12. If Woofchild requests that the Goods be returned for inspection, the Customer must package them appropriately and securely and follow the instructions provided by Woofchild. The Customer should retain proof of shipment and tracking information until the complaint procedure has been completed.

  13. If a complaint is accepted and Woofchild is required to cover the necessary cost of returning defective or non-conforming Goods, the appropriate return costs will be covered or reimbursed in accordance with the instructions provided by Woofchild. The Customer should not independently purchase an unnecessarily expensive, express or premium return service without Woofchild's prior approval.

  14. Depending on the nature of the confirmed issue and the rights available to the Customer, an accepted complaint may result in repair, replacement, an appropriate price reduction or a refund, as applicable.

  15. Where repair or replacement is applicable, it will be carried out free of charge and within a reasonable period of time, subject to the circumstances of the individual complaint and applicable consumer rights.

  16. Where permitted by applicable law, Woofchild may refuse a particular remedy if that remedy is impossible or would result in disproportionate costs compared with another available remedy.

  17. Complaints will not be accepted for damage occurring after delivery as a result of improper use, improper care or washing, failure to follow product or care instructions, accidental or mechanical damage, improper storage, modification or alteration of the Goods, or damage caused by the Customer, an animal or a third party, subject to any mandatory rights available to the Customer.

  18. Normal wear and tear resulting from use of the Goods does not constitute a product defect. Natural signs of use, deterioration of materials and changes in appearance resulting from ordinary use or ageing of the product are not grounds for a complaint unless they result from a defect for which Woofchild is responsible.

  19. Minor differences resulting from screen settings or calibration, lighting conditions in photographs, characteristics of the materials used or natural variations occurring during the production process do not in themselves constitute a defect where the Goods otherwise conform to their description and expected characteristics.

  20. A complaint cannot be based solely on a characteristic, feature, variation or imperfection of the Goods that was clearly disclosed to the Customer before the purchase was made.

  21. Where, following verification, including review of documentation held by Woofchild, it is determined that the reported damage did not exist prior to shipment and occurred after delivery as a result of improper use, mechanical damage, damage caused by an animal, improper care, modification, improper storage or another circumstance for which Woofchild is not responsible, the complaint will not be accepted, subject to any mandatory rights available to the Customer.

  22. If a complaint is accepted and replacement of the Goods is approved, Woofchild may require the original Goods to be returned before the replacement is dispatched.

  23. If a refund is approved as a result of an accepted complaint, it will normally be issued to the original payment method, unless another method has been expressly agreed with the Customer.
