A little story from our studio:
We ordered a fresh batch of our beloved Toffee Teddy yarn. It arrived soft, fluffy, gorgeous… but then (cue dramatic music)... once it hit the machines, our production team noticed that the brown shade was slightly different from our original one. And by that point we were already deep into sewing - dog sweaters were flying off the machines first because they had sold out instantly, and the human sweaters + blankets were next in line. And the dog sweaters sewn from it came out in the perfect, original Toffee Teddy shade. Lucky pups, right?
But the human sweaters? Well… they didn’t get quite the same fortune.
Once the yarn for the human sizes hit the machines, production noticed that the brown tone was slightly different from our original color. And of course, we were already in the middle of sewing — patterns ready, yarn threaded, machines humming.
Here’s the deal:
We didn’t want to toss out perfectly good, high-quality yarn. That felt wasteful and very not-us. So we finished the production run and decided to release this special batch to you - at a lower price, because transparency > pretending nothing happened.
